FALL FASHION SPECIAL | How to Slay Fall for Under $100

via Dynamite

I have a growing list of concerns when it comes to fall shopping. First, the jeans. My old ones look old, but not old enough to look vintage, so I need new ones that look vintage but aren't, if you know what I mean. Then, the sweaters - I mean, nothing gets you over the loss of summer faster than a cozy oversized sweater paired with perfect boots. Speaking of which, don't even get me started on boots. You'd only have to glance at my bursting closets to realize I do n.o.t. need new shoes but somehow, every fall, there I am taking home blue velvet ankle boots that I 'had to have' and over-the-knee suede boots that I literally 'could not live without'. So many wants. So many bills.

While I firmly believe in investing in quality pieces that you love, I've found loads of fantastic pieces that fall well within my shopping budget this year. The stores are loaded with cozy, well-made finds that you can add to your existing wardrobe now to get it right up to date. Silver shoes, beautifully detailed knits, and subtle hits of soft pink, purple and olive green give me all the feels I need to get pumped up for the season ahead. Scroll through the thumbnails below to get your fall fashion fix. Did I mention there's nothing over $100 on this list? #slay

Happy Sept, beauties! Can't wait to shop with you this season xx

DAD FOR THE WIN | 40 Genius Father's Day Gifts

via Le Château

My dad was the best. He lived his life with heart and joy and boundless energy. He would strike up a conversation with anyone he met and they would inevitably leave feeling happier because my dad just had this way of making people feel special. And it was genuine. He loved people and he just loved life, embracing every invitation and adventure that came his way - and there were many. He told the funniest jokes, the most outlandish stories, made a mean drink, and cared so, so much about his 'girls'.

My dad is gone now and I miss him constantly. I was one of the lucky ones to have a truly great dad and his impact on my life was tremendous. Now that I have kids of my own, I get to see my husband be a great dad like my own dad was. He's funny and caring and patient and thoughtful. He goes away for work but you know that when he's away, all he wants to do is get back to his littles. My son looks like him and acts just like him too, which explains sooo much. Yup, turns out cuteness is a curse (You see, cute + charming means you can pretty much get away with everything because you have your mom wrapped around your adorable little finger. At least I'm aware of it, right? Hmm...better work on that...)

With Father's Day only a week away, I thought I'd do a little pre-shopping. After all, dads deserve a big hand for doing those extra little things that end up meaning the most. Scroll down for 40 fun father's day gifts to help you think outside the box of golf balls this time around. We love you dads!

EASY DOES IT | How to Dress Like You're Super Chill

via Dynamite

Like Clark Kent or Wonder Woman changing into their superhero suits, there's something about clothing that has the power to transform us. Put me in a business suit, glasses and heels, and I can act as profesh as the next bawse babe. Throw a sparkly dinosaur tee on me and suddenly, I'm quirky and hilarious. Or at least I think I'm hilarious.

Whether you're the most laid-back person you know or a wound-up ball of worry, summer is the perfect time to dress like you're super chill. It's the time of year where you can brush those stresses off your shoulders and remember what it's like to breathe. It's time for loungy pants and breezy dresses that are as comfy as they are cute. Even summer accessories are designed to let you forget about your probz, from hats that help you let go of a bad hair day to easy slides that don't require any work at all. Basically it's about being as lazy as possible so you can spend your energy doing stuff that really matters. Namely, mojitos and patios.

Happy Fri! Anyone else SO glad it's the weekend again?
